ABOUT US

iexplorelebanon™ Hiking Group is an outdoor community for everyone, whether you're new to exploring the outdoors or looking for more challenging adventures. We connect people with nature through year-round organized events across Lebanon, as well as trips abroad, with a strong focus on safety, organization, and firsthand outdoor experience.Founded in 2018 by James Sawaya, who brings over 10 years of experience leading and organizing hikes along with a background in rescue operations, the group has completed hundreds of successful events and built a loyal and committed community.Beyond organizing events, we have developed our own equipment rental platform, allowing participants to rent hiking and camping gear, as well as a multi-level difficulty rating system designed to help them choose adventures that match their abilities and goals.Our team plans every event with attention to safety, logistics, and participant experience, creating an environment where people can connect, grow, and enjoy the outdoors together.With iexplorelebanon, it's not only about the trail or the destination. It's about the experience of being outdoors and the people you meet along the way in a community that shares a love for adventure.

  • Mostly gentle slopes with minimal elevation changes.
  • No technical skills required; hiking footwear is optional.
Level 3
  • For hikers with moderate experience and athletic children (8+ years).
  • A mixture of flat, uneven terrains and some inclines (up to 200m).
  • No technical skills required; hiking footwear is recommended.

Moderate

Level 1
  • Not suitable for beginners; requires good fitness and stamina, suitable for athletic and experienced children (10+ years).
  • Includes steep ascents and descents; elevations (up to 400m).
  • Varied terrains that may include small climbs, rocky sections.

📝 Rental Terms & Conditions

1. General Care & Responsibility

Treat all equipment with the same care as if it were your own.

The Renter is fully responsible for the proper use, care, and safe storage of all items during the rental period.

The Renter assumes all liability for any loss or damage occurring while the equipment is in their possession.

2. Damage & Penalties

If an item is returned damaged, a penalty fee will be charged to cover all necessary repairs.

If the damage is irreparable, the Renter must pay the full retail price of the item.

3. Equipment-Specific Rules

  • Tents: Must be pitched ONLY ON SOFT, FLAT GROUND cleared of all rocks and debris to prevent punctures. Keep tents at least 3 meters away from campfires. No smoking permitted inside the tent at any time.
  • Snowshoes: Must be worn ONLY ON SNOW with a minimum depth of 4cm to protect the frame and bindings. Walking on asphalt or rocky terrain is strictly prohibited.

4. Rental Period & Late Returns

Equipment must be returned by the agreed return date and time. Late returns may incur additional daily charges at the standard rate.

5. Cleanliness

All items must be returned clean and dry. Equipment returned in an unacceptable condition may incur a cleaning fee.

6. Agreement

By checking the agreement box and completing your order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions above.
